Well crap!

Vent away! We feel your pain!!! We've all tried a zillion times, why should this be different. What if I really can do it without surgery? What if I have surgery and fail? Then what the heck do I do?!?!?! I've tried and failed a million times. I can do it short term, I cannot do it long term alone. I need help. I will not fail, I cannot fail....dear God please don't let me fail. Iam scared to death!!!! (Not of surgery, pain, etc...scared ill fail, again)

Out of curiosity has anyone tried isopure? Ive yet to find a protein shake I actual like....I can tolerate the powdered one my doc pushes, I've HATED the pre made varieties I've tried. The all seem to have a salty after taste :/ tired of wasting money on em then throwing them away.

Yes, to be blunt your husband is an ass who treats you and apparently at least 1 kid like dirt. I know money matters, but your emotional well being and that of your children also matters. What a jerk, who has an order of protection for their father? That's crazy!! Good luck. Stay safe.

When I had my lap band taken out in August I was on day 2 of my period, my hell day.....first words out of my mouth post-op 'Can i PLEASE have my panties?!?!?'

From my 8 year old soccer star 'Eye of the Tiger' pumps us up every time! I also have Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls' as a reminder.

No worries, they'll give you a pad to lay on....they've seen it all

I don't know about the rest of ya but I am going stir crazy!!!! I am so not a fan of wishing your life away but come on February!!!!!!!

I plan to take a week as well,my doc was fine with it. After my lap gallbladder removal,lap band and then lap band removal I was back at work after 4 or 5 days each time. (I'm a family practice physician assistant, I walk and talk. The heaviest thing I lift is my lap top. I did spend a lot ore time sitting tan I usually do and the first 2 days wore me out! After that, when I hit the week mark, I was okay). I'm sure it varies based on what you do, complications, over all health, etc but like I said my doc was perfectly fine with a week.

I start my pre-op diet next week so doing the countdown. Mom made homemade chicken and dumplings for me last night, just finished what is likely my last subway sub for a long time....feels funny to be preparing!!!!

Yay!!! Here's to long walks and even longer farts!!!!
