Hi all, My surgery date is Dec 31st. Happy New Year to me! Been on the liquid diet for the last 11 days. Optifast. I would not recommend going through the holidays on just shakes. I had a few breakdowns but managed not to vary from the plan at all. Chewing lots of gum and decided myself that I could have a bit of celery in my faux broth. You all have a lot of great advice. I'm looking forward to joining you on this journey.
