Hey Steff---I'm right here with ya. My surgery was 7 days after yours and I am only 39 pounds down (including pre-op). I slime all of the time and I know that if I have any fluid taken out then I really won't lose any weight. I lose like 1/2lb-1lb a week. I was hoping it would be more like the average 2 or 3 that I was told. I know that if I would just eat salad I would lose weight faster but I am only 23 and I am not willing to GIVE UP all unhealthy foods for the rest of my life. I'm just dealing with the pain of eating right now and I need to get back on track with excersizing. Good Luck and Best Wishes to you! <3

Just an update to everyone. I am only 35lbs down. My surgery was December 8th, 2009. Welcome, Trapped! Surgery was surgery. I was in pain afterwards, but that is to be expected. Thank you, Faviola!

Hey Girl! I'm good, having my 3rd fill tomorrow. Second fill worked but restriction is wearing off. We all have to have set backs in order to succeed. Good Luck---Hope the fill helps

Welcome to this new journey in your life. A lot of people experience different things. I am not going to lie. I had a rough first couple of months but I think it was mostly because I was expecting to eat little portions and feel full and I wasn't. You have to focus on healing before you can focus on losing weight. That's a biggie! I have had two fills so far. First did nothing, second worked but the restriction is wearing off so I am scheduled for my 3rd tomorrow. If you have any specific questions or concerns just let me know. Best of luck to you! xoxoxo

Hi! I had my surgery done at Auburn Memorial Hospital by Dr Carl Weiss. I'm ok. Feeling a little discouraged right now because I had my first fill over a week ago and I have no restriction at all.
On a brighter note----I hope your surgery went well! Be sure to check in and let me know how it went. When your port area is really sore, heating pads help.
