  1. Hi guys, Im actually new to this forum, so hello to you all:smile: I wanted to have the lap band procedure done next year, & I was just a little curious about the time frame up to the point of actually getting the procedure done. How much time in between consultations & insurance company approval was there before you could actually get the procedure done? Thankyou for your responses in Advance!

My incisions the day after surgery.

omgoodness! On a scale from 1 to 10, how bad did those incisions hurt?
  3. Maybe you can talk to your doctor about a prescription appetite suppressant? I havent gotten the lapband done yet, so I take phentermine in the meantime and it works really well for me. Sometimes I have to remember to eat because my appetite is like almost completely gone.

    scared of saggy skin!!!

Get a dermaroller and some good skin firming cream! And I dont want to be the pessimistic one in this situation, but losing weight from the lapband is most likely going to give you saggy skin regardless of your age. Your age will more or so have to do with how well your skin will snap back, but that could be over a couple years. The best thing you can do is to be preventive. Saggy skin is not inevitable. You can dry brush your skin to get rid of dead skin cells and improve circulation, you can use a dermaroller which improves skin regeneration and your skin's collagen supply. But yeah, there are tons of skin products you can try. Just focus on skin rejuvenation and elasticity.
