Skinny Size 2

I had the lap band done in Mexicali, Mexico by Dr. Alberto Aceves in Almater Hospital in 2006.  I paid $8500.00 out of pocket.  My starting weight was 189.  Insurance would not cover the procedure as I was not heavy enough to be approved.  I have exceeded my goals and now have a BMI of 18, I am 5"3 and 102 lbs., plus or minus 3 lbs. on any given day.  I am a size 2, sometimes a 0, depending on cut, and I feel great.  I do keep my band tight so I can keep my weight low but I am not too tight.  I am very lucky that the band has been so successful in my life and I encourage everyone to give it their all.  I am not a sweets eater and I attritubute that to much of my success.  If you eat sweets, they go down too easy, and you can not have a satisfactory weight loss.  I wish everyone luck on their journey and if you would like to ask me any questions, feel free.  Hugs to all.
