I feel the same way I had my first fill on the 3rd, I felt something right after I had the fill but a couple of days went by nothing. I hungry more then ever now. I even went up 4 pounds but in my opinion I shouldn't gain weight because I'm doing this calorie count thing that allow me to track how many calories I eat (1801) base on my weight and height and I walk 45 mins 4x a week. I hope things change after a couple of fills. -

So tonight me and my hubby went to IHOP after work and I order what I alway have,The Breakfast Sampler. before having LB surgery I was able to eat everything on my plate and my drink, this time all I had was some of my eggs, one beacon and half of my pancakes and I was full. I don't know if this is what you call restiction or what but if so I'M liking it. oh by the way had my first fill on the 3rd, hope this is the one.

Had my first filled today 4cc's and honestly I don't feel any thing. I was hopeing to feel restriction with my first filled but I don't.I 'am praying that I don't regret haveing the band, I don't know just speaking out of doubt, I know it's just the first fill but I'm just saying.

So today we went out to eat, just to clear up I did not want to go but the hubby talk me into it. we get there we order our food and I go for the chili... ok I know I'm not suppose the eat real food yet but hey that why I'm big in the first place, anyway I'm eating the chili no problems eating slow 4 spoon and that was it, took a doggy bag home and about 5 and half hour hungry so I decided to eat some chili and within 2 bits it was a wrap pain like you never believe…

WELL I DID IT.... FIRST OF ALL I CAN'T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY DID IT, SO MUCH EMOTIONS I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START. I WAS EXTREMELY NERVOUS, GOT INTO A ARGUMENT WITH THE HUBBY, FUNNY THING IT KIND OF HELPED ME TO GET MY MIND OFF THE SURGERY..LOL BUT WE MADE UP NO BIGGIE. WHEN WE GOT TO HOSPITAL I WAITED MAYBE 30 MINTUES BEFORE CALLING ME TO REGISTRATION THEN WENT UP WAITED AN ADDITIONAL 5 MINTUES THEY ASKED ME A MILLION QUESTIONS, GOT MY IV IN AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF, BUT IT TOOK 1 HOUR A...

SO MY TIME HAS COME.... I'AM SOOO NERVOUS ABOUT MY SURGERY. I HAVE TO BE THERE AT 5:00AM IN THE MORNING AND CN'T WAIT TO GET IT OVER WITH. KEEP ME YA'LL PRAYS AND THOSE WHO IS GETTING BANDED TOMORROW I WILL ALSO KEEP YA'LL IN MY PRAYS.

tomorrow is weight in day and clear liquids before my surgery. I was told that if I didn't lose enough weight (15 pounds) pior to my surgery, my surgeon will cancel my surgery but I will pray that they only tell ppl that to keep them in check. keeping my fingers cross....

HEY EVERYONE, I FEEL LIKE YOU ARE WRITING HOW I FEEL. I'M BEEN BANDED ON THE 8TH OF FEB AND I FEELING REALLY NERVOUS. I'VE BEEN HEAVY ALL MY LIFE, I'M 5'10 280 MY HEAVIEST WAS 296 BUT I'M NOT THOSE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE LOW SELF ESTEEM OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT BUT I HATE BEEN HEAVY SO THATS WHY I CHOSE TO HAVE THE LAPBAND. THE WAY YOUR FEELING IS NORMAL AND IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE TELLING ANYONE THE RIGHT TO DO SO. I THINK EVERY THING WILL WORK OUT FOR THE BEST. -
Day 6 of my liquid hell and I have only 1 pound out of 15 pounds the I have to lose before surgery and I am upset. I fear that my doctor might cancel my surgery due to not enough weight lose. I don't know what to do. I eat 800 to 1200 calories a day so I don't know whats wrong with me. when am I suppose to see weight lose?

Pre-op Full Liquid Diet

I wondered the same thing. My pre op diet is 5 optifast shakes a day and its driving me crazy, day 6 for me but i have to be honest, I had a salad or two in between, I can't help it I was hungry.... no meat, just greens and it was yummy. -
Wow this is sooooooo hard. Day 3 of my pre op liquid diet and I am going crazy. My doctor told me that I need to lose 15% of my weight which is 283 and I AM 5'10, SO THAT LIKE 15 POUNDS... I don't if i can lose that much in so little time.

hey that how feel, I'm on day three and I am dying.... I have my surgery on the 25th and feel like I'm not going to make. I have to lose 15% of my weight, I'm 283 5'10. it's only 15 pounds but not eating is driving crazy. hang in there, it will be over soon. -

I'm in the process of getting my band I'm so scared, I mean I had a c section last year so know how it feel to be operated on but nevertheless I'm ready To put my fears away.... for me and my babies
