I stuck to the 2 weeks of liquids, however now I am on soft/regular foods.. I go on January 11th for my first fill and is soooo excited about it. How much weight have you lost thus far? I have not had any problems eating some of the food I used to eat like, chicken, bread etc... I guess once i get the fill all of that will change (meaning i may not be able to eat any of that stuff... Let's keep in touch for encouragement ok....

Hi amac09!!! I was banded 12-11-09 I go for my first fill on 1-11-09. I have lost a total of 15 lbs. and is looking forward to my fill. I to have been able to eat pretty much anything since the 2 week of being banded. When I went to my 2 week post op class the instructor told me that i have NO restriction and can pretty much eat what i want and that all the restriction will come once i have gotten my fill on 1-11-09. please keep in touch. I am too in texas, denton to be exact (about 30 mins from Dallas)
