CONGRATS 2 U!!!!! As of this past week I'm down 70 lbs. I had a fill then had to have some removed but I've found that sweet spot i'm kicking ass and screw the names!! Keep up the good work. And next time send the message to my email, i check that everyday.

The fill is when ur doc injects a small amount of saline into the band via your port. The avg time to get your 1st fill is about 6 weeks after surgery. My biggest struggle after surgery was not being prepared enough w/having decent tasting liquids on hand. The other thing was keeping in mind that the time after the surgery was for healing and not weightloss....any weightloss b/f ur fills is bonus.

So taste your broths, puddings, jellos, popsicles now so you know what you like and will have them stocked. Plus ur protein shakes.

Hi Tommygun, roughly from jan (start of pre-op diet) to now (1.5 months post-op). No fills yet....1st fill next week.

Thx mschips. I'm very happy w/the decision and I'm sure u will be too. It hasn't been all easy but it gets easier every day. I've done pretty go and am very proud but I get my 1st fill next week so I'm really ready to fly!! Best of luck to you and keep me posted of ur progress.

thank u as well!! I'm doing ok, cried yesterday b/c a I put a shirt on that all my fat rolls was stretching it out just 2 weeks ago. I'm amazed already!! good luck 2 u 2!!

Hi Viv, yes I'm ready to get this party started!!! I've done well on the supervised diet and not as well on the pre-op diet but to this point I've lost 35 lbs...I know I'll put some on w/the fluids in the hospital but it's been difficult - I'm ready to have that extra help!!
