I was wondering if any of you have a good recommendation for a Lap Band surgeon in Southern California? Also pricing information for cash pay?? I am ready to have the procedure now - just looking for a good place with a reasonable price. -
I haven't picked a doctor yet, i'm researching several. I am hoping that since I will be self pay I can be scheduled soon and be on my journey will the rest of you. Other self-pays - how long did it take from your consultation to when you had your surgery?

Why is it that you can't have Diet Coke? My BMI is 34.5 and I am in the pre-planning phase right now. I will be scheduling my consultation tomorrow. I am 5'8" and 228 lbs. I have been struggling with weight for years and I am inching toward diabetes and need to get this under control once and for all. -
I am also in Southern California - who was your doctor? I am in "find a doctor phase". I am also self pay.
