  1. Just keep on the soups and protein shakes. Smoothies work great too. I had surgery on 10/30 and had the same fears you did. I am now down 23 lbs and feeling great. When you start on "real" food, just take it slow, chew, chew, chew and eat your protein 1st and stay away from breads. You may like them, but they won't like you :0)
