I started my journey and 280 lbs. even though I am 6 ft tall I still felt terrible about myself nothing fit me and I never fit in!!! I tried every diet you can think of I had a personal trainer 4 days a week but in the end NOTHING worked. So I went online and researched lap-band after seeing a commercial and found a surgeon, I went to a seminar and started the process!  I am nearly 90 lbs down now after 9 months and very happy with the results, however there have been a lot of ups and downs and I would love to talk to people who have been there so i don't feel so alone!
