I have just retired from the US Navy after 26 years. During that time I have really abused my body physically, 2-ACL surgeries, 2-shoulder surgeries to name a few. After each surgery I have gained weight and when you come from a family of larger people it just kept adding on the weight. I finally said enough is enough, I want to be able to enjoy life again and being 100+ pounds overweight is not helping. I do not have diabetis but others in my family do, I do have sleep apnea. So my bottom line is I want to feel better, be able to be more active again and just enjoy life more.
