(pt 2) At first i didn't have much restriction and the first couple months were ALL about willpower. You may gain weight after surgery, it is normal so don't freak out. HIDE your scale! Only weigh every few days or you will be in tears a lot. I am just starting exercise- look into Couch to 5k, that is the best way to go! I can only speed walk through the run parts, but it burns great calories.
I go on this site a lot to keep me in line and give me inspiration.
If there is anything else you'd like to know, just ask. I like to help.

Thank you! I would say do exactly what you are doing and be informed of the pitfalls that others suffer. Also, i really try to only eat 2 oz a meal. Other people on this site will eat a cup or even more, but my surgeon does not agree. I drink up until my first bite and then I wait an hour after my last to drink again, I drink 64 oz a day, I have 1 protein shake that is 30g of protein but I am supposed to have 3, I am trying to get better. I take vitamins: 1 multi, iron, folic acid, b12. I blend them in a magic bullet with my anti depressants into a piece of sugar free Popsicle.. I tried for months, but this is really the best way. The ice carries it back long enough to swallow without too much taste and it melts so it doesn't get stuck.
I chase it with crystal light. I would recommend stocking up on sugar free popsicles and crystal light!
