I am a 40 yr. old Mom of 2, that has always been over weight.   Even as a kid, I was always the bigger girl in the group.I may have been a big girl, but was active in all types of sports through High School.But had the same eating habits as my family,and it went on from there.Went on many different types of diets, and spent alot of money on diet pills, and they would not work for me.I work in the Medical field, and see alot of over weight problems.I have high B.P. and on meds, and my family history is not good, with B.P, and sugar, and cancer.....wanted to put a stop to it now, and change my ways of life, for me, and my family to follow. Did over a year of research on the Lap Bandand found that this would be the best for me. Good luck to all of you Lapband Friends, and family.  Mary G.
