Hi friends! So an interesting thing happened the other night so i wanted to share my cautionary tale with you... I never know how long after the sell by date on the egg carton you can keep eggs so i use that as my throw away date. So here i am the day before the date on the carton with 4 eggs left. Man what a waste. I have this brillant idea to hard boil 2 of them so that I can take them to work for lunch the next day. waalaa - not wasteful me. I fill up my little pot, put them on the stove and then sit on the couch. There was this really cute Charlie Brown goes to the Spelling Bee show on tha sucked me in... sucked me if for probably over an hour!! Becuase the next thing i knew I hear this loud POP! Egg Srapnel all over my kitchen!! No Water in the pot and exploded egg everywhere. Whoopps!! so the next time you go to hard boil eggs - make sure there isnt any charlie brown shows playing! Good Grief!! :heh:

yup feeling very scrooge-like this year. i just put lights up on the tree and its been up since tuesday - well it sat for 2 days in the garage. i actually chopped it down from the famly tree farm in Wi and we put it in my xB and drove it home sunday. my first tree chopping experience was cool - felt like a lumberjack but that didnt last long. just not feeling xmasy.

anyone try Spaghetti-o's? I know pasta is no-no for lots and I havent had pasta in the year. But tonight i have such a taste for Spaghetti-o's! I know its not high on the real pasta list but i was very curoius..

ok so my saga continues... bought the little cup and ate maybe half... now i have the funkiest funky-orange-pasta-sauce after taste in my mouth! YUCK. Guess i should have made the tuna afterall!!

i know its not a good use of my calories but this funky orange sauce is hitting the spot!

i do love love love love my xb! i love the toyota of naperville on ogden folks - esp the service guys when i go in for my oil changes. we have 7 scions now in the family butweve all gone different places... i'm up for going anywhere. the 8th works for me. i tried to cook something in the oven since i've been sick for a week & now i am finally starving - course the sausage or pizza gick at the bottom caused a big ole smoke out! so now i'm fricken freezing with the patio door open trying to desmoke my house. gggrrr!!

oops - now that i think of it since the company was hedquarterd out of WI i think it was BCBS of WI. now sure if its different or not. Did everyone have a god thanksgiving? we go to the inlaws in WI and we never get left overs which i know is good - but its 11 am and i emailing friends to see who has left over turkey cuz i want some more! =) any thoughts on when we can have a december get together? the only weekend that is out for me is the 15th & 16th

Congrats Jeni! Kim do you have any liquid tylenol? that helped me (except when i forgot i had just been banded, rolled over and tried to pick up a blanket from the floor in the middle of the night. OOOUUCCHH) Since November is almost over should we try to get together in early December for a holiday lunch?

finally put it in the before and after pics thread! met with the new development director this weekend at 2 alumni events for my college. i SSOOO want to be their new alumni relations director. I would have to live in Dubuque for awhile without the hubby but.... Keep your fingers crossed for me please!!

Hey friends So since my job karma has been on a major downward slide since the summer i figured maybe an evening part time job would help. Im temping 8-5 right now. So last night was my first night at the movie theater. IT WAS AWEFUL!. I got home at 2, every part of my body hurts. I'm suposed to work tonight 7-close again, tomorrow 3-8 and monday 7-close and thrusday 7-close. What The ^%&***&^%%$$ was I thinking???!!!! my only desire is to go in this afternoon and give them my bowtie. i just cant hack it. ggrrrrr!! :faint:
