Hi Delightful people, I'll will be joining the bandster's tomorrow (Dec 28th)! I'll be at the hospital at 5:30. I am very lucky, only one day (today) of clear liquids pre-op and it's going fine. I don't feel too nervous, more concerned about doing the right things after surgery, but it is all a learning experience. Thanks to everyone for all the info I have gathered from your post. Good wishes to all who are squeezing their surgery into the last few days of December - to be a Delight!

Great Job! I did the same thing with all those Christmas Cookies friends gave me. For some reason it gave me more satisfaction to flush them down the toilet telling my self that is where they could go anyway, after leaving their calories on me! Well, tomorrow is the big day for me, I'll be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. I am very lucky, only had to do one day of pre-op Clear liquids, with 2 or 3 Atkins shakes - it's going well so far. I don't feel too nervous, more concerned about following the diet after surgery, but I guess it will all fall into place and will be a continuing learning curve. Thank you to everyone who has posted on this website, I have learnt so much from you all. December Delight here I come!
