Starting our lapband support group tonight. I hope that it will help me to stay on track with my weight loss. I need the encouragement and reinforcement I can receive from helping others. I have had mine for almost a year, and really should have done better with my weight loss. I have lost 60 pounds. I can tell and others can tell, but I find myself falling back sometimes and responding to stress the same way, with food. The band is a great tool, but that is ALL it is. The rest is up to you. You can still make bad choices and eat too much. I think it helps me to not eat as much, but I still find myself eating whatever I want really. I need to get back to why I did this to myself in the first place. Still have 140 lbs to go.
