I have been overweight since birth, really, there is not a picture of me that isn't pudgy to say the least. Although I have been overwieght my entire life I have always been active. It has just been in the few years that I have really been affected by my weight, my feet and knees hurt and I just don't feel like "me".  Luckily, I have NO health issues and I don't want any! My brother had gastric bypass a few years ago and he had a terrible time with it at first, he has since adjusted and lost 150lbs, but I decided after seeing the struggles he had that the bypass was not for me. So here I am on the lapband journey, surgery just around the corner and honestly a little scared but at the same time very excited.
