Hello my name is Billiejolupo I live upstate NY i grew up in Amity Harbour NY i have two wonderful children we all no children have there days but over all there good. LOL.I havent been over weight my hole life it only seemed to happen with my two children and ive tryed diet after diet lost some weight but seemed to get it right back .  I know someone that had the lapband done i got a lot of information about it from her and then started to here this one had it done that one was getting it done.  so i made a a phone call to the doctors in cooperstown ny and  and so i have to say it sounds like something for me to do to change my ways.  Ive learned alot from going to the support meeting and talking to different people about it my boyfriend of 14 years is so supportive for me and my family as well .  So i have gone to the doctor december 18th 2009 for the first consult and weight in i was weighted at 258 so she told me i need to lose 12 pounds ive done just about everything needed to do in one months time, saw the surgeon jan 20 2010 and she said i was doing everthing right eating right, ( by the way i havent had any sweets and soda just  one breakfast lunch and dinner) so i was weighted in again on jan 20 and i lost 9 pounds so the surgeon said theres no resaon not to have a committe meeting the first week in febraury so hopefully so after that i will have a date set up.  Ive joined the gym for sometime now and do alot of walking at night.  will keep you updated
