I had my surgery in early August of this year...and I lost 25ish pounds during the pre-op diet but since then I havent lost any weight. I never really feel full like Im pretty sure we are supposed to...and I was wondering if there is something wrong. I went into this thinking I was going to loose tons of weight and I havent. When I eat, food tends to get stuck A LOT and its really uncomfortable and a lot of the time I end up throwing up the flemy stuff. Does anyone know what is wrong with me!? Am I immune to the band?

Okkay guys! Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you all. I went to the doctor sometime last week and told her about the problems that I have been having with my band. Apparently...its user error! Im still in the learning curve and I havent quite trained myself to take small bites and eat slowly. This obviously explains why I have been having so much trouble. The good news is I was wrong and I have been losing weight. I have lost 14 pounds in the last 2 months (an average of 7 pounds per month.) The doctor says Im doing great and my band looks fine. She didnt even fill me anymore. Im REALLY excited that I know the band is finally working even though it is a slow process. Congrats to everyone who has their band and everyone who is getting one. Its a great decision. And thank you all for your support! Lauren

I've had 2 fills so far and I havent been back for another yet because I have been away at school. I plan on seeing him soon. Thanks!
