Its going good, I'm not eating as much as I'm supposed to, which is typical. When I'm busy I eat once or twice a day. Today for example I had breakfast (the filling of a breakfast sandwich, left the bread.) and then I had lunch which is that last thing I ate, oh and guess what I ate? THat's right another in-n-out protein style lol. But my weightloss is evident, people keep commenting like WOW so it must be working, even though I haven't weighed myself and OMGoodness, less than a week to go now! SUPER EXCITED!

In-n-out.. let's see I can't see where you're from but I assume you live in ATL from your username lol... In CA, AZ, NV and UT we have a california based burger company called In-N-Out, they make some of best burgers in the world. Everything is high quility because that's all they do is make burgers and fries, no more no less. But protein style is a burger wrapped in lettuce, no bun. So basically it's just meat, cheese, onion, tomato and lettuce (or pickles, etc if you like) and their "spread" is thousand island based spread. They offer the other ones as well ketchup, mayo, etc.. but a regular In-n-out burger comes Meat, chese, tomato, lettuce w/ spread. You can add raw or grilled onions. They're delicious and technically on my pre-op diet lol

Dr. Nirmul is my surgeon, yes I have a pre-op diet. 2 protein shakes, 2 meals per day. Elminate fatty foods, etc.the pre-op diet is based off of your BMI & it can be anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 days or not at all if you're low on the BMI spectrum. The purpose of the pre-op is to shrink your liver & prepare your body for the change. People who don't pre-op diet tend to have more headaches, irritability & even depression from the change of food, sudden lack of carbs, etc... But it all depends on the purpose. Your Dr. is a specialist so I would feel confident that he knows what he's doing. I had a friend who had no pre-op diet & no real post-op diet or restrictions after. She was at the borderline of having to have the surgery, actually had to gain 20lbs so that may be the difference. Overall I would feel confident in your surgeon and I love love love the Scottsdale Shea hospital -the only reason I didn't use him is because I'm impatient & implusive, I went with the quickest availability
