Hi! The week after my 21st birthday of May 2009, I decided to get the LAP BAND. I had been over weight growing up, but when I hit college, it was out of hand. I had hit 300 lbs! Lukily for me, I carried it well, but after a while my body started to let me know it was at max capacity. I met my boyfriend of now 2 years back when I started to gain the weight. I know all ladies will agree with me when I say long term relationships make you fat! haha! But I can't blame him, it was me. I was 21, and already letting myself go. I was happy to get the LAP BAND, it is almost like my own personal trainer. It helped me rewire my brain so that food was not that main focus anymore. Now I hope to get back to my cute little pre-boyfriend body and beyond! I have always wanted to be below 200, which I haven't seen in quite some time, but what are goals for. I wish everyone the best of luck with their band and feel free to send me a message with concerns or just if you need someone to say hi!
