my best friend had lapband 3 years ago and has lost 170 lbs. another friend had it the first of the year and has lost 93 lbs. i've been to different doctors, even had surgery scheduled a couple of years ago. i backed out. i went to dr. martin's seminar and she said if i had diabetes or cancer i'd do some medical intervention. my issue is that i've lost 40 lbs 2 years ago and havent' gained it back, i've lost 10 more this summer. my bmi is 37 now. i'm just scared. i'm stuck. i know i wont lose this alone.
