    What is this bump?

I had the same thing after surgery. You can actually research it, but my surgeon let me know that is is called a healing ridge. It will eventually go away. It was really hard for me to get my first fill because of the healing ridge being directly over my port area. But it went completely away about two months out. You will be fine.
  5. The first 3 months with my band I had no restriction at all. I could eat anything that I wanted. It was really hard those first months without a fill that would restrict what I could eat. But even now after a year out, junk food seems to be the easiest food to go down. You have to change your way of thinking and eating with the band. It is 90% mental. If and when I cheat, I just start fresh the next day. You will do fine, just make good food choices.

    hairloss

I started losing my hair around 5 months out. I didn't really worry about it because I had done the same exact thing when I had both of my girls. My OB/Gyn assured me it was just hormonal changes and it would definitely slow down and eventually all grow back. I am now 1 year out and all of my hair has grown back in. It is probably thicker now than before the surgery. I really wouldn't waste my money on all the advertised chemicals and pills. It will be okay.

    Ahh bra...

I actually ordered three of these. I wore them for about a week and noticed lots of back pain. I really didn't associate the pain with the bras until I quit wearing them and the back pain went away. They may be good for someone with smaller breasts, but being a 36DD they did not work for me.
  8. I am a little over six months postop and 55 pounds down. I started at 232 and now at 177. I am only 5'0" so I still have a lot to lose. My goal is 130. My weightloss has slowed down a little but at least I am still losing.

    I cheated! Please help! :(

I feel almost certain that you will be just fine. I ate a few times during my 2 week presurgery period. My doctor said that patients starting with a smaller BMI are not likely to have really enlarged livers. Just start now with high protein and low to no carbs. You will do great.
