hi again i had my first fill on tuesday, the doc put 5 mils in my band he tried to put 6 in but fluid couldnt go through so he took 1 mil out again, i have been on fluids for 2 days and was allowed mushies for tea today so i had cod in butter sauce with mash potatoes and carrots was awesome. never had a problem with it going down either no allowed solid food untill sunday but i have found a pair of trousers i couldnt fasten before my op i can now put them on and off and not even have to open the zipper, i got out of the car tonight and they felt so loose i thought they were going to fall down, my hubby was there with his phone incase they did so he could take a photo he is so rotten but thankfully they didnt fall down.i havew now lost a bout a pound a day since my fill i hope it carries on.

i ws banded on 27th november and im on food now, the problem is i dont really feel any restriction, i have my first fill the day after you on the 12 january i am eating a lot of salmon and smoked makrel, chicken and tonight a pork chop some mash and veg with thick gravy was lovely, finding 20 minutes to eat my food really difficult to do but trying as best as i can. i get alot of acid if i drink pure orange juice but other than that everything going down well and not had anything stuck yet.

i know its just really frustrating to weigh and find out you put on when i lost 27pounds so far. you know even when i dream i still dont dream im thin im still fat in dreams lol. i soke to my nurse today she says it to do with not passing as often as well because not as much food going in not much being passed either or as often

well im am on a downer this morning i have weighed myself and i have put 2 pounds back on im now on day 10 post op and feeling quite well today the pain is going down nicely now but the weight is coming back up again is this normal i have to wait 5 weeks for a fill i want one now

well done girl thats great i had my band 3 days before yours i still have a little oain but it is getting better ever day, i am on mushiesnow and on friday can start a soft diet

my port area is still quite soar but i cant see where it is i can just feel it, not sure if its normal or not sorry

thanks i have been on liquid diet but with my ibs as well it was very painful and embarrasing so i had to start on some pured food yesterday thank god the runs have stopped now but i feel fantastic i have my appointment for checking scars etc tomorrow hope they done shout at me for going on to solids too soon but i havent had any problems even the gas has gone away and i can belch easier discusting i know, my hubby was so worried this morning because when i woke up i was burning up but my temp was normal he couldnt understand how i was wet through with sweat but not have a temp so he put the fan on an froze me lol bless him he does worry so. can i ask how long have you been banded

i cant beleive how fast i am loosing weight now after my surgery this is fantastic

well i have weighed myself this morning and i am 19 stone .06 pounds so 2 pounds and i will be in the 18 stone again not been that for years eating a pured diet now scrambled egg tuna and mash miulk shakes and coffee and flavoured water all going good

well done michelle cant beleive you were out in two hours thats amazing i didnt feel like moving at my discharge yesterday the was really the first day i even felt like getting dressed but not today again lol but never mind glad youve got what you wanted now xxx flo
