Hey Rosie, I just spoke with Billy and he never recieved the order. He told me what probably happened was your computer remembered the last person that you ordered them from and the order automatically went there. He said that he can make you a perfered customer if you want to email him some info or give him a call. 5163170076 or billy@shopguido.com. He would need a different email then you used when you ordered the other stuff. If you want to send him the info he said he would send you out a few samples he has. Btw...what do you think of the opc3. Do you notice any changes? I noticed my allergies got better. Amanda

Hey Rosie, I hate crystal light too. I do like these vitamins, but i dont like them alone. I mix in the opc3 and the b complex and the taste is not bad. I was even able to get my 6 year old on the multi and she drinks it(its sweeter for kids). Let me know if you have any questions about them. Amanda Jo

I was doing chewables too, Then i started doing so research on how things get absorbed and for me the isotonic stuff won because it gets absorbed so fast. It also made me full, which was a nice plus. If you do end up trying them let me know what you think.

AmandaJo replied to LilMissDiva Irene's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hi All...I cant tell you how super excited I am to see this forum. I was banded in 2010 and I have only lost a total of 30 pounds...which I have put back on . I just joined ww online and I want wait to keep up with this group. Its nice to know there is support out there. I also started taking vitamins. I have been having a problem with taking pills. I found awesome vitamins that are isotonic (you mix with water) that are great. Found them at www.shopguido.com. Cool site, I am doing the multi vitamin and the opc3(antiioxident) and www.weighwatchersonline.com. I am determined to be healthy and i think this is a great start. -

Wow, you should be a reporter :scared2: Did you stay overnight at the hospital? Yes I stayed overnight, everyone does, they call it a "23 hour stay" ant honestly, I was in no shape to come home  Was Dr. Geiss able to make you feel comfortable before you went under? Yes, Yes, Yes he was wonderful and so was HIS STAFF (june and Marian were AWESOME) Have you "slimed" or "pb" yet? I must be old, I have no idea what that means Are you uncomfortable all of the time? Not all of the time, the first few days I took ALOT of pain medication but now just a few tyenol and I am ok. Is it due to the swelling or can you actually feel the band/port? Its Uncomfortable because in day to day life you use your upper body alot. Cant feel the band...and I am think i know where the port is...haha I dont want to press to hard to find out (i'm scared) How has your digestive tract been handeling this change? Digestive System has been fine due to the fact that I did not liquid diet a week before surgery Constipation? Diarrhea? Normal? Not Really Are you feeling very weak? Just the first few days I was tired Are you able to walk around somewhat easily? Yes, The first few days were rough. I was loosing my breath and it was hard to sit up from a laying down position but now I am ok, Still sore and black and blue a week out but ok. Can you drive? I started driving on monday Have you gone back to work? I went back to work on monday, did 8 hours and then came home and slept. It has been getting easier everyday. Was it done laproscopically? Yes, It sure was What is the followup regimen that Dr. Geiss has implimented? I will find this out on the 16th I guess when I go back to get my stiches out So...I hope that answered some questions for you. Here is my summary... It was a little more painful then I expected, but it was sure worth it. I was with four other woman who had the same thing done and we were all at different pain levels. If I had to do everything all over again I would because the results I am starting to see already are amazing...and this is only the beginning...Amanda

The Pre-surgery diet is not bad at all. It takes like a day to get used to is. I have lost some weight too, its amazing. I can have yougart(fat free), pudding(fat free sugar free), Skim Milk (I have been putting carnation instant breakfast in it, Light soup, Medifast(I only like the chocolate) and water. Tomorrow I can do only clear liquids, broth, jello, water, juice...fun fun, I am not going to be a happy camper tomorrow but its all good.
-
so....today is my last day of medifast and soup and I have a feeling I am going to be SUPER cranky tomorrow. Starting to get NERVOUS , may need someone to talk me off the ledge tomorrow night
-
Michelle, Your are AWESOME  I know your appointment is not until January but here's a idea for you. You have to see soooo many Dr's before they even schedule your surgery, maybe you can make your appointments before your consult to start rushing things along. I can help you with the Dr's Appointments. Call the office tomorrow and maybe they will give you the go ahead on that, even if you have to make your Dr's appointments after your consult at least you have them, they book up really fast and maybe you can get them days apart instead of weeks...let me know
