I am at month 6 and have lost 71lbs. I have just got done with my stall finally! So Im not sure where i will be at my 7th month. Everyone is different as you can see. Our metabolisms and eating habits all play a role. My job keeps me active so I move alot where as some may have desk jobs. I woul dsay though that 70 seems to be around the norm though but dont be discouraged either way! Anything is better than where we started! Good luck! :biggrin0:

I had my sleeve done inmarch and I still have problem with meats. Chicken I can have 3 maybe 4 bites before I am finished. Not much at all. It will get easier with time I am sure. Just do what you can. Im sure you are doing great!

I have trouble with vitains as well. i take centrum and I find it better if I take it after dinner right before bed. This way its not on an empty stomach and Im not awake to get sick. Works for me hopefully for you too!

I really liked this article. It really made me feel better when I don't lose for a while when I do the same thing I always do. It really makes me understand better what my body is doing. Thanks!

Lol you guys are great. I did find at target a canned protein drink called pure protein. I bought the vanilla and low and behold it taste decent. I was sooo happy. 100 calories 2, 21 gr protein, and 4gr carbs. I think it is good but everyone is different.

I had my first bullet today......I WAS GOING TO DIE!!!! It was the most disgusting thing I ever had lol. I read online somewhere it was like liquid Jello hahahah yeah right. I will have to try watering it down. I am going to try maybe doing the powders in a yogurt. I think other than the flavor the grittiness really bothers me. Is there anything smoother? I probably just need to suck it up and drink the stuff, but I don't want to for the rest of my life deal with gross stuff!!! Lol.

The pain isnt too bad since you have meds in your iv. It mainly hurts when you get out of the bed. Everyone is different though. When you are home it hurts getting up and down and sometimes swallowing. For me swallowing was really painful. I had gurggling and a sharp pain but it would pass. i just took the medicine they gave me for pain and I was pretty good. Not too bad though mainly just sore. Im on my third week and have virtually no pain. Just the occasional too much water or too big of a bite going down. You will do good! :smile1: Good luck to you!

I am about to start my third week and I too was worried cause I stopped losing for a couple of days. I read on here someone saying your body is trying to understand what is going on and is holding onto all it can. So I stopped losing then today i weighed myself and I had lost two pounds. I wouldn't worry. I think it is your body adjusting to this crazy lack of food stuff. :smile1:

Yeah I noticed the pills were like 1gram per pill totally not worth it. I will just have to look around and try. Hopefully I can start eating a little more to where I can eat meat to get my protein. I cant stand the powders! I have tried a bullet and it too was disgusting. Hopefully it will get better soon!!!!

Is there anything that has high protein that you can take easily without the horrible taste. I am still swollen from surgery so I can't get my protein from meat yet. All the drinks I have tried are disgusting. It takes all of me to gag them down. I wish there was a pill. Is there a pill!!!!

All of you have been so helpful! I am soooo much better now it is unbelievable. I have lost 22lbs in a week and a half insane. I am drinking more now and getting in my protein. This is the best website to go to for help!

I feel much better today. I always have a huge glass of water with me at all times. Im just not always thirsty. I had some soup today which stayed with me. I guess I should just plan on taking small sips every 15 minutes. I am not sure how much water I get everyday. I am excited for these first few weeks to be over. I go back to work monday and hope I can do it. :scared0:

Thank you all I was worried about what is normal. I feel better now and am going to try to eat no matter how gross it sounds. I hope I can figure out when to eat and how much. Im a wimp when it comes to pain :scared0: I wish you all the best of luck! I love to hear about others and what they are going through as well.
