I am so down! I just got banded on Dec. 10th. So a challenge sounds great! 6 wks til the 14th. I am challenging myself to lose 15lbs! Can't wait! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!! -
I was banded on Dec. 10th, at 259 pounds. I woke up to very little pain and never ,even, needed the pain meds. I was crazy full the first 2 wks. At my 2wk check-up I had lost 16 pounds! I am now 243. I go back for a fill in 3 wks and can't wait to get weighed in (I still don't have a scale at home lol). It is a little harder now since I haven't had a fill and the swelling is down, but I still get full after about a cup to a cup and a half of food. I'm trying to stick to liquids and soft foods still ever though I am on stage three. I figure it will help me until I get a fill. Can't wait to see whats ahead!

I know the fill seems so far off! I am a lil nervous for it, though, I have to admit. I love that! I'm gonna say that to myself next time I get tempted my people around me, because no one is showing any mercy AT ALL! I came home to my in-laws over eating pizza from my favorite spot lol. And christmas...listen to this...I'm puerto rican and italian and my husband is african american....so basically I was at 3 family get togethers with the best food known to man!!! LOL! I have been sticking to it too not going off at all, because I know as easy as I can do well is as easy as I can do bad! It is so nice to have someone to vent with! LMAO

WOW 20lbs watch out!!! That is so good! I lost 16 lbs at my 2wk check-up and feel great. I can't wait for my fill too! Keep in touch!

Girl things are doing great...I have been laying real low on food besides jello, though, because I tried brooth once and YIKES!!! It was not cute as far as the bathroom goes! TMI LOL anyway just wanted to say hi and good luck! PS can't wait for that 2wk check up to see the scale

I am getting my operation on Dec.10th...I was wondering how that worked lol! I told the doc if im on stage 1 foods for 2 wks with no restriction am I gonna be starving all the time...she said no but girl I worried! lol! I will let you know how it goes! Good luck with your fill...you can do it!
