Hello Micky I had my surgery in Oct 8th this year and I am 58 yrs old. I had my surgery for the same reasons you are. I have 5 grandkids and a wonderful husband that I want to be around for. I have lost about 20lbs since surgery. It is not as easy as you think (surgery was fine no problems) I have had 1 fill and still get hungry but I am not over eating. Hope your surgery goes well. From one not so old lap bander to another.
