I was banded on November 19, 2009.  Two of my friends were banded recently as well.  In fact, one had the procedure right before me on the same day!  It is nice to be able to talk to someone who is going through the same thing.  We will be band buddies for life!  It has been a fairly easy process so far except for the miserable gas i have been experiencing.  I have walked, rocked, taken Milk of Mag, Gas-X strips, been patted like a baby, and it is still haunting me.  I do however get some relief from walking and rocking.  I am only 5 days out so i am hoping this part is almost over.  I am also starting to experience some hunger pains. I am excited for what the future holds for me.  Can't wait to see myself in 6 months!
