Had lap-band 9/2007 with Dr. Jose Rodriguez in MX. Surgery went great, no complaints at all. Lost a ton of weight. Started having problems about May 2010. Vomiting frequently, everything hurt going down. Doc moved out of town, had nowhere to go for help. In August, had complete loss of restriction. Finally found a doc that is willing to take me, and he was only able to aspirate 1cc out of my band (it had 8.5). He filled me (have no idea how much), still have no restriction. Have another appt next week. Finally just said screw it and scheduled a revision in MX with Dr. Kelly on Jan. 24, 2011. My insurance probably won't pay anyway. I'm tired of gaining weight and my hunger is out of control!
