hello, i just wanted to tell you look great!!!! i was just banded yesterday so i am looking forward to a new me!!!

THANK YOU!! I am doing good just a little sore, surgery went great and i was doing everything the wanted me to in order for me to be released so now i am at home relaxing being pampered by hubby and my daughters ....hehehe i love it!!!!! So far so good!!! 4 more days for you how are you feeling?

Hi there well tomorrow is my big day!!!! Thank you, i was kinda feeling like a loser but your right this is why were doing this and don't feel i did so bad on the cheating either, but i been really good the past 2 days so i hope all goes well for me tomorrow!!!

Really!! Well I hope it does me good cause it is a torture not being able to chew food for 14 days although I admit i have cheated a little bit here and there. hehe My surgery is tomorrow 5:00am i am super nervous but I think i will do okay!! So how are you feeling? Any advice for me?

Hello there, I am struggling I tell ya!!! Yeah, I don't get it either (w/ doc). I totally understand with the weekend too... omg then lately seems like every weekend we are invited to a birthday party or something and not to many people know about me getting banded so all I kept hearing people tell me aren't ya gonna have some of this and that it is good and stuff like that so finally I had to lie and just say no not feeling good but I ended up cheating :sad:with a little bit of beans anyway. So two more days for me I am super nervous!!! I keep having nighmares that I am already banded and in the dream I am terrified:eek: to swallow anything....

Hello Tatt3d girrl, your date is coming up how are you feeling? Mine is on the 23rd, Im a bit nervous, but I know I will be alright!! How are you holding up on your pre op liq diet or what type of diet did the doc request you to do?

OMG!! I would die to have that diet. It has been really really hard especially today this is my 5th day and I have not cheated, but i tell you i have been like a mad women drooling.. lol another thing it doesn't help that next week my menstrual period is coming >{ My surgery date is next Friday the 23rd... 7 more days

Your welcome, and I will definitely asks question when I think of some I just had my pre-opt appt.yesterday so they pretty much prepped me on what to expect and stuff for next friday... thanks!!! Right now I am holding up pretty well being on liquids.

Good luck!!! I been doing great except the first two days were really tough where I did cheat but I made healthy choices. Really it is not that bad if you take a step back and really listen to your body and know that it is nothing but head hunger. I actually like testing myself cause I feel I have control I know it sounds weird, but what I do is cook my family a yummy meal that normally I would just throw my hands up in the air and give in. So what type of diet do you have to do, because I noticed every doctor is different?

Hello Venegirl1, lol I did choose a long name you can shorten it up and just call me Pockets..Well this diet really really sucks!!! I so failed on Sat. I had salmon and salad personally i don't think that was so bad, I just couldn't take it that day all the sweet in the shakes, jello, and popsicle are getting me sick... it's only my 4th day :/ I have dropped 4 pounds though, but I really don't count them because before my liq diet I kinda went a little crazy with what I was eating. As far as hunger I think it is more head hunger because the shakes do hold me down a bit.

I know what you mean though about gaining weight fast I wish it was just as fast to lose it.

hello i started my journey on 1-5-10 and also had to wait 3 months but last month i finally got approved yay!!! So my surgery date is 4/23/10 and i start my liquid diet tomorrow..... =/....

yeah, some protein shakes are not that bad. I never tried slim fast, but oh well imma have to just suck it up!!! My surgery date is 4/23/10... yay im excited but at the same time super nervous!!!

your lucky as for me i have to do 2 akins shakes and 2 high protien slimfast shakes, sugar free jello, chicken broth and i believe that is all..... yup starting this Friday... NOT looking foward to that!!!... =/

Hello the other night I was watching you on youtube and then I came across you on here.
