When counting ounces for meats do you do it by weight or measuring cup size?

I also have the dry mouth .So glad you husband got to loose his ear plugs so fast.

I'm not sure if there was a laundry facilites at the hotel.While i was at the hospital i used there gowns to save room in my bags i just wore there gown and a pair of yoga capris. I'm sure they would give u to gowns if you asked so your back would not be showing..They had a surge protector in the hospital room so there was room for a few plugs in but i had bought a like 3 or 4 foot cord so that way i could use my phone or nook from the bed or recliner if i had to. Also it would be great for the heating pad if u needed to use it.

I took a small extenson cord it came in handyto plug up cell phone and nook. i also took a heating pad but never used it.I only had a carry on. There is also a store across the street we walked to that sold gatorade . I also got broth from the resturant at the hotel. They also give u 2 bottles of water in your room and there is a coffee maker so i used that with the small packets out of the oodle n noodles i took with me.

I used Dr. Kelly when he had just hired Omar but i never met him. But i had a great experiance .

I arrived on wed afternoon stayed at the hopital that night had surgery next afternoon. Was in the hospital for two nights after surgery and hotel two nights. There was a lady that was there when i was she went home a day early. But i think my amount of time was fine. . . Also i think you will love the hotel. If you need gatourade or popsicales they is a store right acroos the street. I also bought my kids a bunch of spanish candy back in place of souvaniers. They loved the idea but was not many of them they liked.

What was your first pureed or mushy food?

Does anyone know what size bougie Dr. Kelly uses i never thought to ask him?

We went to the movies last week and i was still on liquids the kids and my boyfriend all had popcorn and nachos but i was fine not evan temoted. We all went to pizza hut last night for dinner again i could not have anything but we had a great time i just sipped my water. We used to go out and eat alot but i have found my self being a better cook at home . The other day i mad pulled pork and the hole family thought i bought it . So i think my sleeve is making me into a better cook because whats the use to go out and eat all the time if i can't eat it yet.

NOt trying to talk you out of the teeth whitning but mrsteacher had hers done we where there i think she may of bloged about it but maybe you could talk to her about. We both when through Dr. kelly so not shure who u are using or if they use the same dintest.

Do you count your protein drinks toward your fluid intake?

You should be fine i would take a sweater or jacket. I also found the airplane to be a little chilly and i wore pants but maybe i was by a vent.

I had surgery 3/29 byDr.kelly and i must say i had took shorts but and no coat . But wore pants the whole time and could of used a coat . It was not freezing but not as warm as i thought it would be it was actually warmer at home in wv. Good luck to you

I had my surgery by Dr. Kelly on March 29 and Payed 5000 . You should be able to find there direct number on here some where because he is cordinating threw hisself he hired Omar to do that for him . I would use him again i had no problems at all so far. No real pain just gas but the next day after surgery that was gone. Not sure how high your bmi is but i was on a liquid diet 3 days before surgery . But i took it upon my self to try to diet 2 weeks before sugery. I lost 10 pounds preop and have lost 20 postop. Good luck to you in you search. Alos i sugest to find a protein drink that u like i love choclate unjury i also tried one from walmart but it was awful.

I was wondering what your diet is you say your tryinnot to drink to close to eating i'm 15 days out and still on liquids and protein drinks was not allowed to have protein drinks till day 10 No soft food for me till day 22. Before you know it thangs will get easier.

Dr kelly told me hired another assistant and he speaks good english. But ana is still her bbecause she has stopped by to see me

I will be haveing surgery with Dr. Kelly on Thursday and i was wondering if they provide gowns at the hospital and if so did they work out ok for you? I'm trying to only pack a carry on bag. Alos any ideas of things i should bring?

I will be having surgery with Dr. Kelly on March 29 . I just wanted to let you know there is a dr in Myrtle Beach Sc and is doing it for $8000 i was going to go to him but just could not justify the $3000 more . But i had talked to him his name is Morris Washington his fee has follow ups i beleive for 6months and maybe for any complications. Best of luck in your search

Great job on not cheating .My bmi is 40

My surgery is the 29 also . I am cofused about this to as mine says the same as yours but to follow it for 3 day. But i think i am going to try and start it on Monday and the last 3 days being clear liquid. I also would like to know what past patients had to do.

I want to be prepared for post surgery. So what are some of the things i will need. What kind of vitamins will i need?We live in a small town so i want to make sure i have the things i need.
