I have been lurking and reading all the inspirational thoughts and enjoying the laughs. Here I am 1.5 pounds away from 'Onderland" and can't seem to make it happen. I go to the gym 6 days a week. I had a big superbowl party and didn't do bad that day but the next day I did indulge with all the leftovers.
My DH just went to the doctors for a check -up and found out that his colesterol is high. My DH has always been thin and never had to worry about what he was eating and me on the other hand it has been a lifelong battle. Now he needs to eat just like Me! This is going to make dinner time a lot easier in my house. My husband is italian and loves to eat sausage, cheese, fried chicken cutlets, etc. and I would just eat my banster foods while I watch him chow down. All in all I do feel bad for him because I know how hard it is to restrict ones self. But that is life. The most important thing is that we are both healthy for ourselves and our children. Off to the gym....
