Have been thinking about this for over a year, did research and decided to make an appointment with a surgeon.  My  primary care doctor was very supportive as I have HBP and arthris really bad in my knees. After doing throuogh all the necessary steps my surgery was completed on Nov 12, 09.  I realize that this is a lifetime commitment and as I am getting closer to retiremnt age I don't want to spend iton the sidelines, not able to do much walking etc. I have stopped by the forum numerous times this past year and got some wonderful information.  Thought it was time to join now that I just had the surgery.
