Hi Everyone, I am being banded on 7/8/10 and want to know, post surgery, how is it eating out at restaurants? (I can't give up all of my pleasures even if I can't eat alot.)

One your first appointment - besides what everyone else mentioned, you will be weighed and measured. One piece of advice I would give you is to drink lots of water prior to your appointment so that you weigh in a little high. Your doctor will give you a weight loss goal this weighing a little bit more gives you more flexibility on future weigh-ins. My surgery date is 7/8/10 - I can hardly wait! -

Hi, I just went to my first appointment and just as I had hoped, I do qualify and my insurance is going to pick up the tab for the surgery. And....I only have to lose 10lbs in advance of surgery! Whew!! I am from San Pedro in Southern California and anxious for the next few months to pass.
