Sorry I don't check this site much anymore. I had my surgery 11-19-10 and have lost 40 lbs. I do not regret having the surgery at all, but there is a learning curve n the new life style. Have you set the date for your surgery yet. Well take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. I can only hope to help others someday. Who knows how many will be encouraged in one way or another about weight loss. Well I can only hope that all goes as plans and I am excited about the future. I wonder how close people will react to my new eating habits.... no more extra snacky poos! lol Well I am going with the 1 day at a time motto for awhile. :w00t:

Hi Mamma, I am not sure if I am posting to you correctly, but thanks for your response. I am so excited about my surgery.... Just want to be super active again and feel better about myself AGAIN! Still on liquid diet as I was told week1 is all liquids too. Thanks for your response hope to hear from you soon--- overall loss goal 70 lbs. How do I make one of those measurement tools with a loss meter on it- so cool:lol: -

Hi, thanks for your encouragement. That is what I need straight talk! My surgery is in 4 days and aside from finally giving up coke, actually drinking water and committed to fasting, I can honestly say in my heart that today... this is day #1 so I said to myself, you better get your act in gear sister, lol. I finally got approval Saturday from my doctor, and while I did the protein drinks during the day, the nights were murderous. I am ready and reading your info helped, so thank you!:wink2:
