I have thought about having lapband surgery for about two years.  I am a 5 year breast cancer survivor, and came to the conclusion I  needed to get healthy and take care of me.  I had started to have a few health issues due to or made worse by my weight. After investigating all my options and much prayer, I decided to go through with the surgery.  I had surgery on July 1, 2010 in Bloomington, Indiana with Dr. Bradley Ray.  He  has a wonderful office staff and has always been completely helpful, informative, and encouraging.  Although I did have a slight complication during my surgery I came through just fine.  I am just starting this journey and can't wait to see the new me!
