I was banded Wed. 11.25 and was back to work at my desk job the following Monday. The first 2 days I did nothing but sleep and needed by husband there to give me my meds and water, etc. I would've liked to have taken that Monday off as well, but did okay with the pain meds. Every day I got a little better. Good luck to you! -

Banned 11/25 and ouch

I was banned on 11.25 too. I remember one of my nurses saying that some people feel the pain from the gas in their shoulders. I just feel the pain in my stomach. I've done nothing but sleep for two days and I still feel the gas pain. Today I plan on getting up and walking around. I was just too tired and sore to be walking around before today. Like someone posted, I too was wondering if I was crazy to be doing this (because of the pain), but I'm starting to feel better today and believe it'll be worth it in the end:smile:
