Lap-band surgery is for sure not the easy way out. I had surgery on 7-12-10, and I have lost 51lbs and I have 49lbs to go. I have worked hard for each and every pound I've losted. I do cardio 5 to 6 times a week and pilates about 2 times a week. Weight loss has been slow, but I think by lossing 1 to 2 pounds a week I will not be disappointed.
