Hi my name is Becky and I had the lapband procedure done on September 2, 2009, it was the best decision I have made for my health. My surgeon's name is Dr. Kehdy, he is great, he doesn't treat me like a number, he gives me his full attention, and answers all my questions, no matter how many time he has heard them. The day before my surgery, I was supposed to stop eating at midnight and, my surgery was first thing in the morning. The surgery went very well, and I went home the next morning after the swallow test ( which was awful). I was on liquids for 2 weeks then soft foods for one week, then regular foods. I had my first fill 5 weeks after surgery, I am due back at the doctors office on Tuesday the 17th of November, and am hoping for another fill, I am starting to get hungry and it is making me nervous.
