I have been heavy all my life. Really started putting on some serious weight after quitting smoking and I was also on Depoprovero shots for birth control. I just packed on the pounds until It was overwhelming to try to lose it. I would lose 40 pounds and then put on 50 lbs. Now at almost 50 years old I realize that my life is severly limited at this weight. I'm short of breath, my body aches, I have high blood pressure. I have to do something to turn my life in a more healthy direction. I have 3 insurances (2 of which will cover the lap-band) so I decided to do it.
