I'm thinking about getting the lap band. Is this a picture of cosmetic surgery you needed as a result of weight loss? What exactly did you have done? I'm so worried about excess skin as a result of the weight loss and the cost of what cosmetic surgery will be. -
So, I read a blog you had posted stating that you had bluecross blueshield. I have it too. I've had weight issues all of my life. I'm 5'8, weigh 260, and have a bmi of 40. I don't have diabetes or heart issues. Sometimes my blood pressure may be a little elevated at 130's over 80's. What do you think my chances of getting insurance coverage for the LAP-BAND?? I can't afford to pay for surgery in the US if insurance won't help. I really don't want to have to go to Mexico to get it done. Any advice? What's the process I need to go through to get it done? Where and how do I start? Please help! I'm clueless on how to get this process started.
