Hey all, I haven't been around for a while I moved and still don't have my internet back on yet, I am at my sisters house so I thought I would get on. Well I got my 4th fill last week, It seems to be working, I had a bad headach last night so I decided to take a pill with milk, and boy was it stuck I kept pb milk I was trying to get it to go down, it was awful I kept thinking what if it won't go down my DR is 3 hrs away. but thank godness it finally did. Hi all, I am going for my 4th fill tomorrow, I am really getting depressed I havn't lost any weight since my third fill, and can eat pretty much anything. hopefully the fouth fill will do the job, since my surgery have only lost 32lbs it just isn't coming off fast enough, working out like crazy and not seeing and change. I can still wear all my same clothes, I know I didn't put it all on overnight but the Dr. said you should lose 2 to 3 lbs. a week and its not happening. I just needed to vent. Thanks all. **HOLLY**

Hi ABC Crew - I had my 3rd fill last Thursday and can totally say I have good restriction, I had been able to eat pretty much anything, well tonight I tried some rice with my chicken and lets just say I pb and it was really gross, I didn't like it at all so I guess no more rice. It got stuck filling and it hurt soooo bad I thought I was going to die, my sweet son came running after me and said is it stuck mama, but after the pb I was ok. Hopefully now I will see the scale move more, with all the working out and less food intake. Thanks For The Replys. Kutia And Ladydi I Also Have The Vanguard And I Was Getting A Little Worried Because It Is A 10cc Band And Was Feeling No Restriction Until This 3rd Fill At 5.6cc. My Dr Has Me Do 2 Days Of Liquids And 1 Day Mushies. I Got The Third Fill On Thursday And Had Solids Today And Can Really Say I Know Now What Restiction Feels Like, I Had To Stop And Let It Go Down Alot More Than Before I Thought I Was Going To Pb, But Didn't And Can Eat Just A Small Amout, Which Before I Really Had No Restricion And Could Eat Anything I Really Wanted To And I Know I Could Eat More Than I Was. MY GOAL FOR OCTOBER WAS 10LBS AND I LOST 5LBS BUT THATS OK. I WILL TRY TO MAKE 10 LBS FOR NOVEMBER. * HOLLY *

Hi ABC Group, Everyone is doing so great keep up the good work, haven't been around for a while very busy, I stated working out 3 weeks ago going 6 days a week for 1 hour, I got up this morning and could hardly walk, went to the DR and I have Acheles Tendonitis from walking on and incline treadmill he guesses. I think it is from being so inactive on exercising that my body isn't used to being worked, but I left the DR. office and went and worked out and felt great, I am just doing the bike instead. I don't want to give up on exercising because I am afraid I won't go back and my scales haven't moved for about 2 weeks, I hope its because I am building muscle but haven't seen any change even in my clothes. I have had 2 fills already but am wondering if I need another, I really don't feel restricted. Surgery 08-21-06 350/320/150 10cc band have 4.6cc in band. Thanks for letting me vent -Holly-

Hi Lanajane I was banded on Aug 21, and went out for my first outing to walmart at 3 days but didn't feel very good. Then went out the 5th day for a long drive and a visit and felt really good. I also had pills for pain, my DR. had me crush then and put in apple juice and it didn't taste bad at all. Congrats on being banded.

Hey ABC group, We are doing awsome, I just went for my second fill today 10-12-06 I have a 10cc Inamed band I had my 1st fill on 09-28-06 they put in 4cc after a couple of days I knew I had no restriction. When I went today she told me that I had lost 3 cc's in my band and that was normal the 1st time because they are filling all that tubing up so she put back the 3cc and then .6cc so now I have 4.6cc and so far I can feel restricted even being on liquids for the next 2 days and soft for 1 day, hopefully that will jump start me again I lost 3 more lbs so have lost a total of 26lbs.:biggrin1: Thanks for all the support. That dress is so gorgeous, you will look soooo awsome. its a long way off.. :grouphug: I also have a formal coming up in February, so I am way nervous, I hope I can be down 30 or more lbs by then I have so far to go... Hi All, Congrats on all the hard work and great weight loss. I just had my first fill on Sept 28th, and could tell a difference right away with just swallowing Water, and I do think that I do have more resistence, but I know I can eat more than I am suppose to, I have read that sometimes it can take up to a week before you can really tell. I guess I will wait to see how this week goes before I schedule another fill. My October goal is to loss atleast 10lbs.... My Dr. just released me to be able to join a gym I am very excited. Hopefully that will really help with getting the weight off. Hi August banders. I just had my first fill today, 4cc. I could tell right away it felt different. I hope when I go back on solids, I will feel the restriction. I have been sooooo hungry, but Dr. Neil said I am doing great, I lost another 5lbs :nervous so my total is 23lbs :clap2: . I was banded on Aug, 21. I have 28 more lbs before my mini goal. I am going to join the gym next week, so hopefully it will really start falling off. Hi August banders, I had mine done on Aug, 21st and have lost almost 30lbs and have lots to go started at 350 can't wait for my first fill I am also hungrey. I will get my first fill on thursday the 28th. I do have to say I am a little nervous about it, but ready....

I was banded on Aug 21, I also was full at first but the last week I am hungrey and can eat more, I am going in for my first fill on Sept. 28th can't wait.

I was told 3 days before surgery that I had diabetes but they did the surgery and told me that it would likely resolve itself. I was banded on August 21, 2006. and am down 32 lbs. :clap2: I feel great. I am getting ready to go in and get a physical and get all my blood work done so hopefully I will see an improvement....

Hi I am new also I was banded on August 21, 2006 and my husband was banded on August 31, 2006 we are just starting. I lost 18 lbs first week just finished my 2nd week. I am so excited and happy that we did it.

I am new also I was banded on July 21, lost 18lbs 1st week :clap2: My husband was also banded on Aug 31. I am so glad we did it.
