I am fine, how are you? I am on my 3rd fill as of yesterday 4.5cc and 45lbs down.

Hey Bridgette, that is great! I am so glad you did the race and finished! I have yet to tackle on of those yet, maybe one day I will complete that task. I am losing weight slowly, about 45lbs now.

I wish I could run a marathon, my knees are shot, although they are not as bad since losing weight, good for you, I am so encouraged by your determination!

Good for you! Things will be back to normal in no time, good luck on this weight loss journey we are experiencing, keep me posted!

Hi Bridgette, he's a good surgeon, I'm doing good, I just think they should give me a little more with my fills because I am always hungry, i'm 11 weeks outs and I've lost 40lbs I feel like I'm doing it on my own.

Hi, I was looking at your pictures, there is such a difference in your features, great job, then I noticed a boat in one of your pictures that Ive been to a party on, I said she has to be in Chicago, so am I. I was just banded and its a struggle, let me know how you did it!

Hi Gwen, how are you, good to hear from you, all is well, the 1st fill didn't really offer me restriction, Urrgh, so it's getting harder to control my appetite, everyone keeps saying slow and steady wins the race, but I always thought it was the fast one that won LoL, but my weight loss has slowed down also, I'm trying to make time to kick up the exercise & I changed my diet from 1200 cals to 1000 or less.

Amen to the gas be gone, you will still get it, just not a frequent, I had it in my shoulder yesterday.

Hey Gwen, the profile picture was in the user settings, I wish I'd known about the baking soda smh... But just know it does get better, the fill didn't make me fill bloated at all. I only took a week and a half off work, so by the time you go back, you will be fine!

Hi! I have never used chat b4, I hate to hear that you may be having gallbladder surgery! The 1st question my doctor asked me was the heartburn question, that stomach acid is not good for your system. Im glad to hear the weight loss has begun again, you will be just fine!

Hey Gwen, Btw just call me Freda, the gas...boy do I remember that, geez...I walked, a lot, I went to Walmart on the 2nd day, I walked a nature trail by day three, i had it so bad, it was in my left shoulder. The gas-x didnt help that 1st week, but it helps now. Walking is the only thing that helped, you are both bloated and your stomach is swollen, its a combo deal! LoL! My stomach is still little swollen, but nothing like right after the surgery, its all that air they pump into you. It takes about 2 weeks for the gas pains to subside. I was on clear liquids for a week and a half, after my staples were removed I was moved to mushies like tuna. I`m sure your throat is so sore, that last about a week, warm broth & cough drops help me so much. Im glad you are banded! I hope this helps!

Thank you, yes I am a part of the Banded world! Woo Hoo! At 1st i was starting to regret it, the gas, the pain, but once i got through the 1st 2 weeks, its been pretty good. I had my 1st fill yesterday, i hated that ewww. All is well so far so good. You said that you had a set back, what happened? How are you? Did they say you had gall stones? Whatever the set back may be, you know you are strong enough to pull through it!

The weight loss seems to be going slow for me I was on the clear liquids for almost 2 weeks, my appetite has increased, i am just trying to be really careful not to eat things that are not on the list. Once the surgery restriction leaves which mine has been gone for about 2 weeks now : ( it's not easy to restrict yourself, those clear liquids get tasteless also, but right after surgery, you really won't have a appetite due to your sore throat & pain. I have no regrets though, my 6 week appt is on the day of your surgery so no fill as of yet.
