  1. thanks gloria. I have 2 go to the hospital n get my fill so thats the quickiest appointment that they had for me. I call th everyday to see if they had any cancellations so I can get in sooner but nothing so far until the 26th???

Wow u r truely an inspiration to me.i was banded on nov 24th 2009 and had my 1st fill dec 21st 2009 i have lost about 16lbs and thats it im 3lbs away from being in onederland but the scale is not moving. Im keepin a food journal n exercising. Im getting vr frustrated because i dnt have any restriction and i dnt know hw or why its not working. I scheduled for my 2nd fill jan 26th but i cnt control my portions now. I try to stop eatingbut im still hungry even when im bored i look towards food. Can u share some of ur success with me what helped u get the weight off...what u ate. What u did to stay motivated...what did u do when the weght wasnt coming off??? I know this weight lost isnt going to come off over night but i need to see some weight move 2 or 3lbs would be nice. Pease help n keep in touch

  5. I need portion control because I dnt know when 2 stop. Sometimes with certain foods I can stop then at other times I cant. my second fill isnt until the 26th of jan n I need help now!!!

    lol I b feeling like the devil b temptin me 2. Im happy 4 u with ur restriction I cnt wait til I get 2 where i cn only eat 2 bites or a half of cup. my problem is I dnt have portion control. how much have u lost since surgery n what kept u motivated when u didnt have restriction? please keep n touch with me

    I am really trying 2 stay positive about this whole weight lost process thing . How do i ignore that the weight is not coming off when im counting calories, protein, n im execersing . Its tearing me apart bc i know its only a tool but i dnt think mine is working. Then im reading how everyone else is losing n being happy. I hear be patient. Well when u try something new n u see a difference that gives u motivation 2 keep going it gives u hope that u can do it. But when u dnt see the results or the weight go down what do u have... I have tears, fears, frustration, n headaches . I go 2 the doctor 2morrow im going 2 show him my food journal n request fill number 2 :-( tiffany

  12. Im craving chocolate with nuts like turtles, or hershey with almonds. Any healthy candy with nuts out here that I can eat? Any suggestions??? THANKS IN ADVANCE

    down 2 more pounds

    I know exactly what ur going through. im counting calories,and exercising. one day im down 2lbs the next its back up. uuugh Im so frustrated bc Im really tryin n it doest seem 2 wrk. I see my doctor 2morrow n Im going 2 request a second fill bc i can eat more than 1/2 cup of food. they say the band works with solid food n nt liquids y am I nt losing Im still at a standstill still n bandster hell. How do I escape it?? If I dnt eat my body goes n starvation mode then when I do eat im counting Protein n calories n its like a seesaw up n down but never down down. It makes me want 2 cry... :-( tiffany
  15. ok now I am starting to eat more during each meal while im counting calories and protien. do u think that it is time for fill number 2??? I dont think that im losing like I should be and yes Im exercising even though I just started this week. At wht point will I start losing between 2-3 lbs a week, do I ave to wait for retriction in order to loose weight???:tt1::eek::eek:

    I had no idea that all that was going on n ur life may God give u peace n strength 2 endure. Im so sorry 4 ur lost n injuries. U have been such an inspiration 2 me with all ur encouraging words n advice. I guess the saying is true dnt complain because there is always someone worse off then u. I know how u feel about the sweets its nt easy just hang in there like u tell me. it will get better. I try 2 keep myself busy 2 buy cleaning the snow off the car n side walk. I will keep u n ur family n my prayers. one day at a time

    wow congrads can u send me a message with u calorie intake and what ur diet u follow on a daily bases. n what type of exercise do u do. how many fills have u had n 4months? that is very exciting news 2 hear

    how many fills have u had n r u exercising if so what r u doing? how much weight have u lost. I had one fill n no restriction now so I can eat n I wasnt counting calories. hopefully the next fill will give me restriction n the weight will come off.

    thanks 4 the info i think that I wasnt eating right nt enough calories or Protein. now counting calories n protein along with exercise that damn scale should move...
