My papers were submitted to my insurance on october 28th 2009 and I havent heard anything yet. I have medicaid insurance so I really dont know how long the process takes but my nerves are all over the place. I have a lot going on next month both of my children b-days r n december and then its christmas... I really want to have this procedure before christmas Im just so tired of carry this extra weight around. I talked to a young lady who also had medcaid and she sd that she got her approval in a week and we both r from chicago. Im sooooo excited then I get frustrated because its like Im at a stand still and I dont knw what to expect. I cant wait to be banded so that I can show my before and after pics as well as have a story to share.... Please help me stay encouraged, and if you have any knowledge on how long this insurance thing will take leave comments .... until then be safe and sty blessed....:biggrin:

how long did it take 2 get urs approved? I have both as well but I think they submitted my paper work 2 medicaid n im so nervous because I dnt know what 2 expect. is there someone i can call as far as medicaid

Omg congradulations Im am waiting on my insurance to approve my surgery. Im excited and nervous at the same time because I dnt know what to expect. hello im also waiting for my approval and Im soooooo excited and nervous at the same time. I understand how u feel because at night my appetite is out of control I cant seem to get full and its a mess. Yes I am a mother of two and I cant wait to start this new journey... when was your claim submitted mine was submitted on the 28th of october and hopefully I can have my surgery in december if nt the 1st of jan ..... I keep praying that everything moves along quickly my patience is shot.
