Hello I am so excited to let u all know that I got my date set. yeah baby Its official and Im sooooooooo excited. medicaid has approved my lap band surgey and I will be having it November 24th 2009. OMG 2 days before Thanksgiving right I have a lot to be thankful for. A second chance to get it right I do look foward to sharing my progress with all of u. So on the 17th I will go 2 the doctor and get all my instructions on what I have to do so I guess I will only have 1 week of liquids before the surgery.....:drool::thumbup::thumbup::laugh::smile::w00t::tt2:

Hey how r u, I just got my surgery on yesterday n I hae cold feet just like u. Man im glad 2 know that there is support out here from people that r n were struggling with there weight just like u n i. u have come too far 2 turn around. just pray n let go n know that God is n control. -
my nerves r out of control now n Im having mixed emotions. this is it baby n I have been waiting a long time 4 this opportunity 2 come n look at me. Im scared I havent told any of my friends or family that im having the lap band surgery, i just been holding this in. I need 2 calm down n breeth..

Can u share with me which liquids n protein shakes worked best 4 u? Im so excited n I dnt want 2 mess up. I will be a newbie on the 24th so I really dnt know what is good n what works

3rd day of my pre-op liquid diet n its nt so bad. In 3days I lost 6pounds. 2more days 2 go on liquids then the big day!!!

yes I did I also let them know how I am getting sick, having these hunger headaches, and being very weak.. she sd that the liquids will help shrink my stomache for the surgery???? I dont know I just hope and pray that I make it till tuesday

Its nt as bad if u stay focused n keep drinking. 4 more days n I will be banded yeah. I dnt think I ever had 2 use the bathroom so much n my life until I started this clear pre-op liquid diet. I feel like I need a diaper lol.. whatever it takes 2 get banded right thats what Im going 2 do... -

thank u. I have a list of things that I can have but the shakes were nt on the list. I asked 4 help 4rom u all because I wanted 2 know if I got it confused. Im on liquids n Im starving n I think im missing protein -
before ur surgery during ur pre-op liquid diet were u on clear liquids only '(chicken or beef broth, crystal light, sugar free popcycles etc) only or did u have the protein shakes of any kind 2 replace a meal?

when is ur surgery? will this b ur pre-op liquid diet? I thought if its nt clear then u cant have it. shakes r thick n u cnt see through them-.? im so confused n hungry. hopefull 2morrow the 2nd day of pre-op liquid diet will b a little bit easier -
