After alot of thought and research and talking to people I've decided to go with Lap Band surgery. I feel this is the best for me. My physician would not agree to bypass and he felt it was to drastic for me to go thru at age 62 with my medical history of a bad back, spinal stenosis, arthritic knees and shoulder, high blood pressure etc. I'm hoping this will by the boost I need. It's hard being brough up Italian and loving to cook and eat to enter into this whole new way of living, I hope I'm up to it. I know if I see the weight start coming off it will give me the incentive to keep going to a healthier body. Since I am recently retired (not by choice, Layed off after 18 years with a company) being home is just more temptations to eat. Hopefuly the lap band with eliminate this. Good luck to all of you out there and I will pray for all of us to reach our goals. Eileen
