The hopital advertised a "free" evaluation to see if I qualified.  I never thought I was 100 lbls overweight, but was told that my BMI plus two co-morbiities would qualify.  I have had all the documentted appointments withe my primary care physician, two visits with the phycologist, and have just had my final visit with the nutritionist.  My first visit with the surgeon is 11/11/09.  From there they will submit all the paperwork to Aetna.  The insurance person in the surgions office says so far everythink looks good.  I am hoping for December surgery date.  I'm nervous and excited.  I just can't wait to get started.  Seems like I've been in Dr appointment mode for a long time.  Actually just started 4 months ago.  Luckily I had 2 prevous monthly visits where my obesity was disucssed and they counted toward my 3 consecutive months plus 6 viists in 2 years.Can't wait to see results.  I've been overweight my whole life.
